An Orchestra of Robot Music Makers: DaDa Machines Interview at Superbooth 2017
Rounik Sethi on Fri, April 21st | 0 comments
We caught up with Johannes from DaDa Machines at Superbooth to chat about the innovative Automat that can be controlled by MIDI to mechcnically trigger sounds from real objects.

Do you remember Automat from Dada Machines? You know, the super cool and innovative open source controllers that turns MIDI signals into mechanical impulses and look like little robots playing musical instruments out of just about anything.

If you remember it went to Kickstarter recently and met its funding goal within hours... and now is over 660% to the good. Stunning for a small, DIY poject. But one that has obviously caught the public's imagination.

We chatted with Johannes from DaDa Machines at Superbooth 2017 and took a look at the craziness going on in the background.

Expect a full, in-depth review of Automat on AskAudio very, very soon... we're just waiting on some final details...
