Audiohand Syncs Multiple iOS Devices for Multi-Tracking Recording
Rounik Sethi on Sun, March 22nd 0 comments
With its focus on helping more bands create (and record) more music, Audiohand introduces an innovative way to make that happen using multiple iOS devices and automatic sync and mixing.

When recording a band setup you could invest in a multi-input recording audio interface, hook it up to an iPhone or iPad and connect multiple microphones or line-inputs to record a live performance. But what if you don’t have such an interface to hand, or that many microphones?

Sure, you could invest in a microphone for your iPhone and try and capture a stereo recording, but what if you could record different instruments to separate iPhone’s and have them synced up effortlessly… that’s exactly what Audiohand for iPhone is designed to do.

In a recent article by Knoxville News Sentinel, founder of Audiohand, Haseeb Qureshi explains how his app is geared towards making the recording process for live bands a cinch.

In a nutshell, the app aligns recordings from multiple iOS devices (to the millisecond), then mixes them together, complete with noise reduction, and then exports the mix to an mp3.

Sounds like an interesting concept? Give it a try by downloading Audiohand from the iOS App Store for free here.
