What Modular Madness Is This? This post on Instagram shows us inside the sbsound_design studio after Depeche Mode had spent 6 weeks there. Stop drooling already!

It may, or may not, be news to you that Depeche Mode are working on a new album. Either way, you’ll be happy to know it’s going to be full of modular synthesizers. The photo below shows the remnants of a 6-week studio recording session for their new album at their Santa Barbara studio.

So, what can we spot? Well, the large white machine is definitely a Koma Komplex Sequencer. There's plenty of Eurorack modules... what about you? Anything you can identify?

We’re not quite sure how they’re going to tour with all this gear, but that’s for them to worry about later ;)

The'll probably tour with the Receptors and the Radars, as the did previously for SOTU and Delta Machine tours.
