Here's How Your Environment Changes How Your Drums Sound
Rounik Sethi on Tue, March 17th 0 comments
You've probably recorded your drum kit in you bedroom or a studio... but have you tried a car garage or an underpass? Wondered what the natural reverb would sound like? Watch this...

Ever wondered what your drums would naturally sound like if you played them in a football stadium, a car garage, on a road, under a road bypass, or even in a fireplace (make sure there’s no breach in your chimney - you don’t wanna go poisoning your neighbours now!!)

Anyway, AudioZero Studios (Wikidrummer) put this concept to the test thanks to Audigier playing his Natal drum kit in multiple locations.

No artificial reverb was added to the sound you hear.  And kids, don’t try this at home… try this outside in interesting places ;-)
