How To Use Korg Kronos To Sample, Record & Edit Audio
Rounik Sethi on Wed, August 31st | 0 comments
The Korg Kronos Synthesizer workstation has a number of tricks up its sleeve. One of these is being able to sample audio using it and even send it through the internal effects engine.

In this 3 minute video on Sampling with the Inputs from the complete Kronos 201: Korg Kronos Advanced course, Matt Vanacoro demonstrates how to setup the Kronos to record audio from a number of different sources and route it as desired.

You can record direct from a computer via USB, where the Kronos would act as an audio interface, or SPDIF inputs to record from a digital preamp, or the 1/4” inputs and connect a microphone or other instrument.

Having recorded some audio from a connected microphone, Matt also shows how to truncate the sample to get rid of excess silence.
