Watch This Mesmeric Looping Performance of Hyve Synthesiser & Wii Remote
Rounik Sethi on Fri, September 23rd | 0 comments
In this video the Hyve synthesizer is processed through looping software controlled via a Wii remote. The result? A beautiful performance.

The Hyve Touch Synthesizer is a polyphonic analog instrument with 3 axis touch control. It's designed to be a a "fun, expressive musical instrument that responds to subtle movements of your fingers".

Regular AskAudio readers may remember that Hyve is not available to buy yet. However, the creator Skot Weidmann continues to run 3 hour DIY workshops where participants build their own Hyve synthesizers for just $70. As luck would have it, there is a workshop tomorrow (24th September 2016) at Lost Arts in Chicago. Tickets are just $70 and you'll walk away with your very own Hyve synthesizer too!

Whether you're attending the workshop or not, everyone can enjoy this entrancing video by Edmund Eagan. In this one-take performance Edmund processes the Hyve through his custom looping software which he controls using a Wii remote.
