Did you know you can now insert text-based tags into the file names of stems as you batch export them? This and many other up-to-the-minute tips can be found in this short video.

Logic Pro is a huge application and even seasoned users are constantly learning new things about how it works. And that's before you've even got to the changes that get introduced in updates! In this short video from the course Logic Pro FastTrack 302: 10.3x Workflow Tips, Logic Expert David Earl shares some of his expert tips regarding the workflow tricks and techniques that have been introduced since version 10.3. So even experienced users will find something new!

After running through some zooming and naming tricks, David delves into Track Stacks and other interface features. Then he gets to the meat of the tutorial: how to export stems using Elements. Elements are essentially text-based tags that you can add in custom chains to include all kinds of metadata when exporting stems. Project name, bar range, year of production and more. It's a great way to batch insert information into your exported stems for easier management later. Check out the rest of the videos in this course for more invaluable workflow tips.

The problem with 'export all tracks' is it bypasses the bus and exports direct from the channel. Kind of useless for exporting mixes, as usually all my tracks will be summed. Know of any workaround for this?
