Push Turn Move is a groundbreaking study into the history, science and art of interface design in music technology. We use these interfaces every day yet few of us ever think about the huge amount of work that goes into making a product user friendly, whether it's hardware or software. Kim Bjorn gave a FREE MasterClass in which he discussed many of these ideas as expressed in his book of the same name.

Music instrument interface design is a fascinating subject and one that every musician and producer seems to be extremely interested in. Of course, this book is one we've personally been waiting for and have seen an browsed a pre-production copy. It is impressive and well worth checking out. So, we invited Kim to present a free masterclass live video stream on electronic music instrument design. In the video below you can view an extract from the lecture, and watch the whole lecture for free here at the AskAudio Academy

This really is a fascinating insight into a world that sometimes gets overlooked, and yet is a fundamental part of using music gear for all of us. Check out the lecture here and prepare to be engrossed.
