Mastering is the crucial and final step of the audio production process. This is the last chance you have to carefully listen, tweak and make final adjustments to the audio before sharing it with the world. In this 23-tutorial course, mastering engineer Joe Albano takes you through this all-important stage and reveals everything you need to know to master "in the box" with Logic Pro.

Joe starts the course with a brief history on the evolution of mastering. After giving an overview of the mastering basics, Joe takes an in-depth look at the various mastering tools included in Logic. You learn about the different EQs (Channel, Linear Phase & Match EQs, as well as all the vintage models). You learn how to use dynamics processors for mastering, including the different Compressor models, the somewhat intimidating Multipressor, and Logic's limiters. Of course, Logic's metering tools (Spectrum Analyzer, Goniometer, Loudness Meter, the Correlation Meter) are also covered in detail, and you learn how they are used to fix phase and frequency issues. Optional processing (such as exciters, reverbs, and M/S processing) are also covered. Finally, the course ends with a typical mastering session where you are shown different mastering workflows and strategies.

So now is the time to learn the art and science of mastering using Logic Pro in this course by Logic and audio expert Joe Albano!
