Then he's off to a massive section on recording and editing MIDI events and tracks. You'll master the Drum and Score editors and get an insider's look at quantizing, creating grooves and freezing Instrument tracks.
Next comes MIDI Instrument Operations: Cubase can manipulate MIDI in countless ways and Matt shows you how to harness the power of these Operations to make editing your tracks fast, efficient and musical!
But wait... there's more! Matt explodes this tutorial right into virtual instrument heaven with a 3-part incredible in-depth tutorials-within-a tutorial encore performance on Cubase's awesome HALion Sonic VST Instrument, the groovy Groove Agent One VST Instrument and the magnificent LoopMash2 VST Instrument. Up to the usual high standards of this series. Nice presenting style too.

The tutorial is great. The explanation is Christal clear.
The only thing I disliked my experience is that you assume that the full version of Cubase is installed. It took me a long time to figure out that in Cubase 6 Elements for example there are no lanes available. This could be avoided by mention it in the instruction or to indicate when offering the course that the course is written for Cubase 6, Cubase 6 Artist or Cubase 6 Elements. This prevents much searching and frustration.

Hepworth does an excellent job as an instructor. He is clear, logical, enthusiastic and doesn't waste a lot of time. The course moves along at just the right pace. He clearly understands how to teach! I highly recommend the course.

A great tutorial in a terrific series. I've been using Cubase since "Score" back in the 90's and really found a lot useful here. Even if you've got some Cubase experience I'd really recommend this series, since the work flow ideas are a big help. If you're new, the clear explanations and practical course design will guide you through getting to know this powerhouse DAW. I'd really like to see a companion tutorial concentrating on working with Audio that is as as thorough and detailed as the Midi and basic production lessons.

Good work, but sometimes the music/sounds are not loud enough compared to the voice.
