This collection of tutorials on the FabFilter Pro series explains every module in the P collection. You learn about how they work, what they can do and how you can use them to enhance your audio production at every stage: from recording to mastering. These plugins all have unusual and sometimes hidden features that set them apart from all other audio processors. Using an array of audio examples, Joe has done a terrific job revealing all the P Series plugins' standard functions and all their deeper audio controls, too.

Though some of the products from Fabfilter have newer versions, albeit much of the same "structure", this educational series to their portfolio of plugins is a wonderful resource for anyone trying to tap into their workhorse and creative capabilities.

Great set of professional plugins from Fabfilter. There are lots of controls within these plugins and this course took me through these in an easy to understand fashion.
Makes mixing so much more fun.

I recently purchased the FabFilter package and right away went through this tutorial series. It gives a no-nonsense run through of all the basic functions of the plugins. Altough a new version of Pro-C, Pro-C 2, has been released after these tutorials were made, all the information is solid and well presented. Checking out a MacProVideo right after purchasing new software is my favourite way to get started.

Great course. I already find myself going back to it for reminders. FabFilter's plugins are, well, fabulous. There are some places where a bit more explanation would be good - e.g. in MB, what do the graphics (the moving curve representing the signal and the curves showing the compression regions) really represent? (Does it mean something when the former crosses the latter?) And some more details on the mysterious Range knob in the compressor panels in MB would be good (exactly how does it change the response curve shape, and how does it interact with ratio?). FabFilter's own documentation is very sparse here and I was hoping for more details. Plus I'm hoping there'll be an updated version of the lectures covering Pro C2. I really liked the tips showing creative uses for Timeless's delays. Overall, very useful, thanks!
