India, by Native Instruments, is one of the most authentic-sounding, ethnic instruments in the Kontakt library. Watch this 24-tutorial course and learn every feature in this Discovery Series library's vast world of sounds.
Matt Vanacoro is an A-List New York City based performer, composer and educator with deep experience in all aspects of production, synthesis, electronic keyboards and music technology...
Creating a realistic-sounding Indian track requires a sample instrument with a lot of depth, articulations and playability options. That's exactly what Native Instrument has created. Every instrument in this Discovery Series library, whether percussive or melodic in nature, has a very specific and deep set of samples to create the illusion of being the real Indian thing.
Watch as expert trainer Matt Vanacoro explores the ensemble mode where you can select your "band", customize the mix, edit patterns, adjust the grooves and much more. Then, join Matt as he carefully and precisely explains each instrument and shows you how to perform them to create realistic ensembles or crazy ethnic mashups.
India has come to Kontakt! So watch, listen, learn and begin integrating this amazing instrument into your scores, electronic dance tracks and more.
Fantastic stuff. Everything is covered in a short span of time. Given how many NI instruments there are to discover when you buy Komplete, it's actually a blessing to have shorter courses available. As always, thanks for putting the course together, Matt.

Excellent course for users that are new to NI Kontakt Libraries, or Indian music concepts. Users that are familiar with NI products will get a decent explanation of features that are unique to India, as well as some of its less known limitations.

Enjoyed it, very informative, ...helping to manipulate indian sounds without having to play all the instruments. Good explanation of a sample player/library in work while still paying attention to the subtle differences in triggering/playing various indian instruments. Cheers R
