RME driver/soundcard doesn't work with NED? Craklets in sou
Hi there, i just bought the Ableton Live tutorial and i downloaded it on two of my computers. On my labtop (pc - asio driver) and on my desktop (pc - rme driver/soundcard). The computer where i want to learn Ableton is on the desktop. After downloading the right settings to make NED work on my pc computer, the tutorial starts perfectly, i see the visual but the sound comes with cracklets, the words are broken into pieces every millisecond. On my laptop, wich has the same settings to make NED work everything is normal the sound aswell as the viusal. I told this to collegue producer and he told me he has the same problem on his desktop computer with RME driver/soundcard. He said this would probably has to do something with the RME driver which doesn't go well with the NED program. He told me to place my problem on this forum. Hope you can help me out here ;-)

Welcome to the MacProVideo forums Vincent! I've passed this on to the support team. Please be patient as there is a big event at the moment, NAMM. Have you tried using your internal audio without the rme connected to your desktop? Do you still get crackles then? Let us know how you get along. By the way, to get support quickly it's better to post either here: http://www.macprovideo.com/support/ or here: http://www.macprovideo.com/forum/ned/ned-windows as it's really a NED issue not an Abelton Live one. Have a great day! Rounik

Thank you for the quick response. Seems i've lost my internal audio on the desktop model when i putted the RME driver and RME soundcard on my pc. The internal audio on my laptop which has no rme soundcard or driver has no problem playing the tutorials with sound. I will post my problem on the links you gave me. Thank you ;-)
