    MPK25 not playing ball
Hi, I'm struggling toi get my mpk25 to play soft synths on ableton & logic. I've done the factory reset but still no joy getting it to trigger sounds. When it loads up it seems to stick on livelite. It usually lets you run through all the different presets? I'm trying to run some midi via ableton through my juno60 which has midi. What's the best way to do this? thanks tom

Have you selected the MPK25 device in the Ableton control surfaces section? You say it doesn't work in Logic either with your synths? Open the Audio MIDI Setup (Applications > Utilities> Audio MIDI Setup). Go to Windows > Show MIDI Window. And make sure the MPK25 shows up there. Also make sure you have the latest drivers for the device installed. What version of Logic and Ableton are you using? And what OS do you have installed on your Mac?

hey, Its really strange it was working a few days ago I'm using logic 9 & ableton 7 all the latest drivers are installed, i've hard reset the device. It only gives me the livelite option. I think there is something wrong with the MPK25. Tried automation on ableton & nothing, it wont even show up as a midi controller. cheers tom

It sounds like it may be the device. Have you tried any other controllers with Logic or ABleton to see if they work? Also try the MPK25 on another Mac if you can and see if it works.
