    Cubase 4 vs. 5
Hey Guys. I have a question if anyone could please help me. I currently work in Cubase LE 4. Is it less efficient as a music and vocal production software compare to the Cubase 5? If so do I have to get rid of what I have now or what do you all advice? I am asking because my cubase 4 sometime seems to go into an overload and all my audio sound like a huge frying noise mess them all up. Please help me.

Hi Roland, What Mac/PC are you using? What are the specs of your computer? Are you using manly audio or Virtual Instruments? Have you tried freezing tracks to help prevent cpu overloads? Cubase 5 has some great audio warping features and the workflow has improved somewhat... though I wouldn't call myself a hardcore Cubase user at all! Best Rounik
