How to Export Individual Music Notes from Music File
Hi, I wanted to Export Individual Music Notes of a Music File, For instant, the recorded notes in the 'Key Editor' are G4, F4, E4, C4, C3, A#2. I wanted to export all these music notes individually. Is there any option in Cubase to do this? Could anyone guide me in this? Thanks

The easiest way to do this is by using the Dissolve Part command from the MIDI menu. I'd recommend right/ctrl-clicking the source MIDI track in the Project window, then choosing Select All Events. Then click the MIDI menu and chose Dissolve Part. The result is that every individual pitch from the source track will be placed on a newly created MIDI track directly below the source track. The number of new MIDI tracks will depend on how many pitches were contained within the source track. The source track will be muted (the event(s) will be muted, not the track) so that you'll only hear the dissolved tracks. Watch Tutorial #26 from the Cubase 6 104 course for more info. MattLTH

Hi Matt, Thanks for your guidance. I surprised by this 'Dissolve Part' Command, I am unaware of this command. Really helped me lot. Moorthy
