    garage band/imovie
    so, i have been working on trying to edit the sound in a documentary that i created in imovie using garage band; however, i can't seem to figure out how to edit out background noise or find any info about how to do so?? any ideas?? also how do you raise the volume for certain segments? Thanks! hsidocumentary

    Hi hsidocumentary Noise reduction....hmmm. Something like Sound Track Pro is more suited to that. You could try inserting a channel EQ on the track in the Effects and analysing the EQ to see where the noise is and reducing that frequency... To automate a track's volume click on the show hide automation on the track header (downward pointing arrow. This will display a new lane for the track. Click to create nodes and thus change the volume for some segments. Cheers Rounik
