Retrieving a Garageband file that has been exported to itunes
Hi, So I recently exported a song I wrote in Garageband to iTunes to show someone its progress. I went back later to work on it some more but the file wasn't there. The mp3 is still in iTunes, though. Is there a reason the garageband file was deleted? And is there any hope of retrieving the file, or will I have to write the song all over again? (By the way I'm on a Mac 10.5.7 using GB '08) Thanks, Kay

Hi Kay, Unless you dragged the GB file to the Trash there is no reason why the GB file should be deleted. When you say "but the file wasn't there". Did you search using Spotlight or look in the Finder or only use GB's New > Open Recent> menu command? Hopefully you've mistakenly moved the file without realising it :) Thanks Rounik
