    SAME TRACK RECORDING!!!
I'm using Garageband on a Macbook Pro and I'm trying to figure out how to do "same track" recordings. I hate having to start over or use an entirely different track to record different parts when I mess up and I'm not that good at moving & syncing the regions together. If there is an easier way to do this please let me know. Also, I'm only hearing output in one ear, what's that about it? P.S. What are some good usb mics that are compatible with Garageband for the Macbook? I'm on a Samson CO1U USB but the sound quality is horrible...even when I try to "eq" the tracks...

    Re: SAME TRACK RECORDING!!!
Hi Dino To answer your first question: Are you recording a real instrument (audio) or a software instrument (MIDI)? With audio, I believe you can simply record over the top of the existing audio region to create a take folder. With MIDI you can delete the existing recording and start again on the same track. Hope this helps Rounik
