    GarageBand Tempo Feature: Flexing Audio
Student453440 writes: (Quote) Is there a slow motion feature for audio?? (Unquote) Assuming you're looking to slow down the Tempo of a song and have audio Tracks follow the new slower Tempo (as MIDI/Drummer Tracks automatically do), you'd select the audio Regions, open the Editor pane ("E"), enable Flex (under Track), and check the Follow Tempo & Pitch box (under Region). Then the audio Regions will behave just like MIDI/Drummer Regions, following any slower Tempo automatically. You can also use this same Flex feature to manually tweak the playback timing of audio Regions. The video below shows the Edit pane (Track & Region panels), and also demonstrates how to use Flex manually for creative or corrective purposes.
