    mp3 edit
I dragged an mp3 file out of the media menu and loaded it in as a new project. It did some kind of conversion and loaded up as a waveform. I wanted to edit out some parts. This was just audio talk, not music. But the audio was weird.. kind of fractured and out of sync or something like that. It did edit and I was able to export it as mp3 to my desktop. But it wasnt any use because the audio was still weird. I bet you have heard of this...whats going on?? If GB cant do simple edits on mp3 audio , is there a free app that can for Mac??

    Re: mp3 edit
I couldn't duplicate that problem—I tried importing a (voice) MP3, editing it, and exporting it as another MP3, and it works fine here. Since I don't know what you were hearing ("weird, fractured"?) It's hard to speculate as to what might be wrong. It could just be a problem (corrupted) file, a file that got corrupted on import (what kind of conversion did it say it was doing?), or just a glitch in GB.. I'd suggest trying all the usual troubleshooting steps (hard shutdown/restart, quit/restart GB and try again, etc), and see if you can duplicate the problem with other files (MP3, WAV, etc).
