    level indicator
When you track usually every track has a sliding level icon. I did something to make that disappear and now its just a green dot. When I start a new project the sliding icon comes back. And I am getting a message about 4 midi inputs" that I wasnt getting before.. whats up?? and I asked before but I will again...there is no way to lower the level on all the tracks except the current new one to half level so I can hear the new track better..??? Like with 1 clik instead of lowering all 10 other tracks manually...??

It sounds like you've reduced the horizontal width of the track headers—when the track header area is very narrow the slider & pan disappear, leaving only a dot which functions as a signal-present meter (when the track is playing it lights up green, which is what I assume you're seeing). When you saved the Project it remembered that graphic setting (new Projects open with the track header at its default width). To restore the slider/pan, hover over the rightmost edge of the track header area (just to the left of the playback cursor when it's at bar 1)—the cursor will turn into some kind of arrow; drag the edge of the header to the right and the slider & pan knob will reappear. Then re-save. AFAICT you can't select multiple tracks in GB and pull all their levels down at once (though you can do this in Logic). If you need to do this often, I'd suggest starting all your new tracks at around -6dB volume (instead of the default ±0dB)—that should leave you a little more headroom to mix.
