Different tracks - movie, transposition and tempo
Under track, I can find arrangement track, you have video 28. But there are also movie, transposition and tempo tracks, you have no videos about them. Are they also necessarily for making the song.. ? Does movie track mean video of the song? What are two others.. ?

Those Global Tracks let you enter changes to over the length of the song. - The Transpose Track lets you transpose all tracks for the entire song or in certain sections of the song - The Tempo Track lets you change the Tempo of the Project for the entire song or in certain sections of the song In all cases you can draw in Transposition or Tempo changes just as you do with regular Track Automation. None of these are necessary for a song, unless you want/need to use them..

How can I change tempo for all song? I understand, default tempo is 140? I saw master track video but there was only shown how to change a tempo of a part of the song. You wrote I can make tempo changes as I do with regular track automation, but I have never used a regular track automation, either the tempo track...

You could set the Tempo in the Template chooser dialog box when you first open the song, or just open the Tempo track, adjust the first [only] tempo node [all the way at the left], and don't put in any other Tempo changes..

Do you mean opening tempo track that I choose it to appear on the track list as on the screenshot and then I just move the beginning of an automation curve to the upper or lower position? That you call "adjust the first tempo node (all the way at the left)" ? But in gb tracklist I have numbers at the right, just before timeline.. Do you call these numbers "tempo node" ?

Nodes are the dots in an automation display (including the display in the Tempo track] -- see the screenshot below. If there's only one at the beginning of the track [at bar 1] then that will set the Tempo for the entire song.

Yes, correct! I just did it - moved that point (a node) to upper level, the number changed to more and tempo also changed to more.. Thanks!

Well. I can choose the tempo on information bar (above in the middle). I watched the second course you attached the second video there was about a tempo. But that tempo was related to metronome. And i have read that metronome guarantees tempo or something like that. If I can choose tempo on the information bar or using a tempo track, then what the metronome still have to do with that? Using I am the metronome or not, preferred tempo I already have chosen... Tempo is tempo. Or not... ?

You're over-thinking this.. Forget about the Tempo Track for now -- just set a fixed Tempo in the header at the top. The metronome will click at the speed determined by the Tempo you choose. The pattern of metronome clicks (bars & beats) will be determined by the Time Signature -- 4/4 by default. Then play/record in time with the metronome clicks. Watch the recommended course(s)* and listen to some music and count the bars & beats along with the music to get an idea of how the musical parts relate to the bar & beat ruler in a DAW. https://www.macprovideo.com/course/music-theory-109-music-theory-for-daw-musicians?afid=E470KLQ7r9 * Suggestion -- don't just watch an isolated video here and there, watch all the videos that relate to rhythm/timing/tempo/etc, or you won't have a full-enough picture of how it all works and you'll just end up with more questions than answers..

OK. I will watch all the videos and then have questions. Thanks for suggestion!
