    Re: Logic Certification Test
Hi Rich, You can either take the exam online at an Apple Authorized training centre (AATC) and study in your time first by yourself (well... using the videos here to help of course ;-) or you can attend an AATC for the 3 day Logic 101 training and then take the exam. Either way, you need to take the exam at an AATC. On Apple's website, you can search for AATC's. I found one option in Vancouver that qualifies as an AATC: Emily Carr Institute The next nearest AATC's appear to be in Seattle. Yea Rich, I took the class then took the exam. It was mostly review, but the test asks a lot of tricky stuff, so pay careful attention, and really really review the book. I can't over emphasize, There is a lot of stuff on there, you wouldn't think they'd put in. I like the exam though. It was challenging. 85 questions, seems like a lot of stuff to ask, but there is some repetition. I will modify the logic 8 quiz now that I know what to expect to make the test more like the real thing. There was mostly multiple choice, but at least 12 multiple multiple choice questions.

it would be more helpful if a had written them down so i apologize for that but there are some rather questionable question on this test. so, i guess this is more for the benefit of those taking your quiz. to be sure i took it a second time with logic opened and did find some of them to be accurate.

[quote:48159]Hey all, After reading all the forums and such. I decided to create my own mock logic 101 test. It may be somewhat basic so far, but I think its a good start. Hope it helps! T. Williamson http://www.proprofs.com/quiz-school/story.php?title=logic-pro-8-certification-quiz FYI: My goal is for this to become an asset to the logic community[/quote] Very cool. Thanks so much for this! I'm new to Logic and I was wondering how I'm doing. With a score of 62.75%, I can see that I have quite a bit of studying to do! Thanks again! Greg C.

don't be so sure. i failed this mock test 2 times. 75% and then 72% with logic open! and as mentioned earlier in the thread, i found some impossible questions, meaning wrong. i aced the actual test no problem. just go through the david nahmani a few times and you'll likely have no problems. good luck.

FYI: The old quiz will be retired once the final update is complete. Read my note today below. ______________________________________ HEY ALL! I really wasn't happy with the Logic 8/9 Quiz, but it was a start when I released it in 2008. We needed something closer to the real exam. 1) In the real exam, you can choose hot-spots, and perform semi-emulated real tasks 2) In the real exam, there is more relevant questions 3) In the real exam, there was xyz....... Well the profs quiz, didn't give me much to work with. Today, I'm announcing the start of the new Logic 9 Quiz. Completely rewritten, and damn close to the real thing as you're going to get. Accuracy is key here, as some older questions were incorrect, etc. Wording was off, but hey, no one was willing to help. I took the task on, and I have TWO CHAPTERS (1&2) online for your review. I will be posting, and updating in the next week or so, the full test. So try it, and let me know what you think. Please say thanks. I put alot of effort into this. Anyway the link is: http://logic9test.elementfx.com/ Good luck with studying for your exam. OLD EXAM: http://www.proprofs.com/quiz-school/story.php?title=logic-pro-8-certification-quiz
