one cross fade over multiple tracks
doing a cross fade over multiple tracks. I have these tracks grouped and 'region selection' (edit) is enabled in the group settings. i want to do one fade with the fade tool and since these are grouped, see it apply to all tracks in that group (drums). but logics not doing it. i only get one fade on the grouped tracks am i approaching this the wrong way? amerikiwi

Hi Amerikiwi, I have the same behaviour here too. It seems like you're going to need to apply fades per track... Alternatively, if you are moving and editing various parts of a drum kit due to a timing error and you need fades created you could try this: 1. Groups and region select tracks. 2. Find where a part, hh/kick/snare is too early. 3. change drag mode to x-fade. 4. cut on sound you want moved. 5. cut before next transient 6. move the region to fix the timing error. 7. drag beginning of region to overlap region in front of it. Logic adds crossfades across all tracks on overlapping regions. I know that's not quite what you are asking - but... might be of use? Rounik
