Getting audio files from Final Cut Pro
Hello again I have a project which involves scoring this documentary that was done on Final Cut Pro. I don't own a copy of this program but I need to replace all the music with my own and keep most of the dialog along with ambient noise. What's the best way to export the audio so I can import it to Logic Pro and sync up my audio to the video? I tried importing the OMF files but nothing was found and just got a bunch of blank audio tracks. Thanks Alex

Hi Alex, what version of FCP is it? Have you tried getting FCP and STP to talk to each other? Have you tried exporting as an aiff file: File > Export > Quicktime.. Cheers Rounik

Hi Rounik, I'm not sure what version it is because it is at school. I don't think I'll be able to sync these up together. I also exported the quicktime but for some reason everything is blank on my computer. From what I remember the quicktime file played fine on the school computer. I'm going to try again and see if I exported everything properly. Thanks Alex
