Hi Hector, iTunes uses CDDB (CD database) to get the name of each tracks, not CD text. See this thread for more details : http://www.macprovideo.com/forum/logic/logic-pro-express&id=7830&sid=#7869 Christian

hello christian, and thank you for your answer now i am more confuse ,i read in WB manual that if you dont have a CD burner with the text capability you cant write any info in your CD, is that the problem? in the other hand, how can i write the CDDB,? i am not talking only about iTunes,if you open the files(CD files, not data) directly, they dont have name ,but a lot of CDs has the name on the file,so is it my CD burner,or do i have to get another software, look i am doing a comercial mastering and i need that the master has the name of the tracks,in order to see them in any computer or CD players with this feature please tell me what can i do????? Hi iTunes uses only CDDB (Compact Disc database) to get track names, not CD Text. CDDB is based on the order and length of the tracks and the duration of the whole CD. This has nothing to do with CD Text. You can upload the track names to CDDB easily with iTunes (under the advanced menu). Next time you insert the CD (or any exact copies of it) in another computer, iTunes will get the proper track names. I hope it helps! Christian
