Building kits in exs24
Hi guys, I was just wondering if there is a quick way to build a custom kit in the exs24? I know how to build a kit by selecting the sounds I need and adding them, But is there a way that you can tell logic to look in a certain file and build the kits automatically. For example I have a vengence sample cd and have the samples in a folder so can i tell logic to build as many kits as it needs to use all the samples?

Hi Kristoff, The best way is to cut up your track and save the regions as new files and drag the folder containing those files onto the EXS24 instrument editor. There might be a way with redmatica products: http://www.redmatica.com/Redmatica/Welcome_to_Redmatica.html Cheers Rounik

So there not a quicker way to get logic to build custom sample banks with the exs24. You still have to go to new intrument and choose the samples you want?

That's right. You would still have to define the sample start and end points or define the actual samples. Cheers Rounik
