    Bouncing Silence
Hi guys, DOes anyone know how to bounce an audio file with silence at the start? What can doing is programing a snare on every other beat but I want to bounce it to a 8 bar loop so its easier to move around. Ian Carey uses Cubase and put a start handle or something at the start so it bounces the silence as well. Can Logic do this?

Hi Kristoff, It's easy to do. Say your snares are set up between bars 1 and 9. Solo the snare track and go to File > Bounce... Set the locators to start at 1 1 1 1 and end at 9 1 1 1. ----- There is an even easier way... select all the snares (add an extra one on 9 2 1 1 before doing this thought) and click on "merge" in the Toolbar. Logic will make a new audio region. Resize the region to make it the correct length. Cheers Rounik
