No problem. Maybe it'll help someone else one day. A correction: I had said that the Q- functions went back to being invisible, but that is only the case if no change is made. If you adjust the parameters, then they stay put, so you can see what's up. thanks again

Hi Sammy, OK! It still seems a mystery as to what is causing the glitch in the Extended Parameters section. I know Logic 8.0.2 still has a few minor graphical glitches (e.g. Once I experienced two playheads moving through different parts of my project at the same time !) Anyway, glad you've figured out a workflow and thank you for posting the solution. I'm sure it will help the community. :) Rounik
