Logic 7 or 8
I have Logic Pro 8 but the tutorial for 7 seems much more basic for a beginner. Would it be ok to start with 7 and then go to 8 or just start with 8. Thanks much.

Re: Logic 7 or 8
Hi strummergurl, Welcome to the forums :) There are enough changes to the interface and some of the basics (e.g. how to create tracks) in Logic 8 that I would advise you to start with the beginner level tutorial for logic 8. There is a switcher guide (free) which I'd recommend watching first if you like. It;s designed to be for people switching from Garageband to Logic, but is very useful as a basic primer to L8. http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/GBLogic The Core Logic 8: Logic 101 tutorial is a great beginner level tutorial IMHO. http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/Logic8101 The first section deals with waveforms and sound but also includes some useful tips on how to get around Logic... it all becomes logical ;) Let us know how you get on or if you have any other questions. Cheers Rounik
