External MIDI controller assignments to hyper draw parameters?
First, I'm quite the beginner with logic, and I have primarily been recording piano/vocal pieces. Now i'm getting into to some electronic work. So instead of having a MIDI controller keyboard, I simply have a Roland FP 7, which is great for weighted key action, but lacks a modulation and pitch bend wheels. So I bought a Korg Kontrol for cheap so that I could have some knobs for automation parameters. That is working fine with automation quick access. However, what if I want to assign one of my knobs to a hyper draw parameter like pitch bend or modulation (both of which aren't automation parameters, at least as I can tell). I assume this can be set up in logic's environment? Drawing modulation and pitch bends in hyper draw or on the hyper editor is fine, but I'd much rather have the physical knob control. Thanks for the help in advanced. ~Blau

In certain soft synths like the ES2 and EXS you can assign external controllers to any destination you want right at the synth itself.
