    Tempo change messes up sounds
Is there a way to avoid having tempo changes reflect on channel effects, such as reverbs, or certain plugns, like Kontakt? When I add an accelerando or ritardando anywhere it adds noises. Those, I believe are the effects on the sound that are tempo dependent. What do I do?

Hi Ben, A couple of options here I think: 1. Before adding tempo changes bounce that section of the track with reverb or delay and add it to the project. 2. Use settings in your Delays that are not tempo dependent. e.g. Tape Delay, I believe, can be set to not respond to the Project's tempo value. Let me know if that helps, Rounik

Hi Ben, I second Rounik's notions there. If you bounce your audio with FX and then tweak tempo changes that should make the delays independant of the tempo changes. However, if you want the audio to follow the tempo change then you need to look at the follow tempo check box at the top left of the inspector on that track. As Rounik also said, if you would rather not bounce to audio then if you turn off the delay sync on delay effects such as the Tape delay, then that will fix the delay time to a time based value, rather than a project tempo value.
