Logic Tutorial Upgrades - Please Read
There's been some questions about upgrading from your existing tutorials to the new versions of those tutorials. We are putting in place a $5 upgrade fee - in other words, it costs $5 to upgrade your existing Logic tutorials to the new version. Click below to see which tutorials apply to you ... add the Logic Mega Bundle to your cart and you'll be shown your potential upgrades: http://www.macprovideo.com/?megabundle=50 Not much changed between Logic 8 and Logic 9. Consequently, many of our existing tutorials have few or even no changes in them. For example, the ES2, Ultrabeat, and other plugin tutorials show only the plugins, and nothing has changed there. For other tutorials we've updated the portions of the videos that changed between Logic 8 and 9.. If you already own one of these videos, the upgrade gives you access to any extra videos, and also the new "box graphic" look to our titles. But that is all - there's no sense re-inventing the wheel! Our titles are amazing, informational and pertinent - there's no need to reshoot videos that have not changed in content. Please consider this $5 a "Shipping & Handling" fee that pays for the costs of delivering the upgraded tutorials to you. I wish we could give the upgrades away for free, but there's costs involved with everything. After we pay a trainer royalty on the $5, plus the commerce charges and the bandwidth, please understand we don't make any money on these upgrades. Thanks! Martin

Damn - missed out on the $2 upgrade! (Mac was away being Applecared for!) Can you please write a list of what has changed in each tutorial? Every tutorial shows as being 'upgradable' but (as you have said) this may be as little as a changed box graphic. I noticed some were pre-order (201 & 403) does this mean new sections are coming soon?

[quote:]I noticed some were pre-order (201 & 403) does this mean new sections are coming soon?
These are posted now ... sorry for the delay!! If you bought them when they said pre-order, you can DL now. The Logic 401 does not have an upgrade it's all still exactly the same as it already had the new box-style graphics and no videos were updated in that title. Glad you like the upgrade deal ... :) Thanks Guys!

Hi Martin, Is Logic 102 THE EXS24 Inside & Out totally different from Logic 102 Exploring the EXS24 ? It does not show an "update" status on my account if they are the same. Please advise. Thank You for everything !

Please can you list the upgraded content? I have no problem paying the upgrade price for upgraded content in order to cover bandwidth, however you have upped the price to $5 to also cover the cost of third party instructors. This quickly adds up over the entire range so we really do need to see where our money is going in advance. For example although available in my upgrade list you say nothing has changed on the instrument tutorials (204, 205, 206) - so that is $15 saved. Although you may have, I'm doubting additional content is available already for the pro tutorials in my list (403 & 404) - so that is (potentially) another $10 saved. So (for me) that leaves the main tutorials.. What has actually changed in 101 and 201? I don't want to come across as a pain, I simply feel that full transparency would be the best solution - and indeed get the most customers. I'm more than happy to pay for upgrades - but only when they are actually upgrades. Otherwise a two tier price structure might be a little more appropriate to cover things that don't actually involve any extra content.

I seem to have the same problem: just upgraded my 101 for 5$ and I can not figure out what has changed contentwise except the new "box graphic" look Martin already mentioned. ? ? ? Please advise. "What do you see what I dont?" The Flex Videos are great by the way...

Same question here. I just downloaded 7 of the $5 updates, but I don't know which portions of the content have been updated. Also, the box graphic on many of these still shows as Logic 8. A list of what each update includes would sure be appreciated.
