Need help, How to get region to snap
Made this drum track, tried using the TNT 1 Section #4 :How to find the Tempo. I set up a loop on a section on the region as show in the photo, then went to Options and selected Adjust Tempo using Region Length and locators but it didn't really work. It gave me a tempo as you can see but the metronome does not line up with the beat at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Re: Need help, How to get region t...
Hi mojave, Not sure I completely understand. So you have an audio drum region in your Arrange. You don't know the tempo, but you've cut it into a neat, let's say, 4 bar loop (not by Logic's grid - but by the drum loop). Select the region. Then you set the locators to 4 bars in the Arrange and choose 'Adjust Tempo Using Region Length and locators' and choose global. It should all line up fine if the region you cut is actually 4 bars and the timing of the drum loop is accurate. So, now you turn metronome on and play back... what happens? Cheers Rounik p.s. Have you tried the Audio > Detect Tempo command?
