    Crackling when using a compressor
Hey peepz, I have a problem when adding compressors to channels. I hear crackling and by bypassing the compressor it goes away. Anyone know how to fix this? I have about five compressors on the channel because I use sidechaining a lot.

Hi Matt, 5 compressors on one channel!!? That might be what is causing the crackling then. I take it they are being used to compress / over-compress the sound ? If you want to side chain a lot then you could use the Noise Gate as it too has side chaining abilities.... I like the Auto Filter too. Cheers Rounik
