Hey Jamie, Yup. I know what you mean! Logic is amazing, but there are 3rd party instruments and effect plugins available for a reason! There are different approaches to sound design which need to be catered for and happily there are some great options out there. I just haven't had time to play with it yet... Maybe next month (!) Thought I'd add to this topic again... and your bank manager / significant other won't like me for mentioning this.... you may be interested to check out Omnisphere by Spectrasonics. Amazing synth. Loads of presets, mind-bogglingly deep but IMHO also approachable. :) Rounik
