    7200 rpm
    hello i want to buy a lap top to work with logic 8 anywhere,the macbook pro tha i can afford has only 5400 rpm ,its that ok or it shoul be 7200 rpm and why? thank you for your time hector villazon

    Hi Hector, It is very possible to use a MBP with 5400rpm HD with Logic. The 7200 is better for recording to and accessing data from your HD. So a faster HD should be able to playback more audio tracks in theory - which can speed up real-time operations (like recording multiple tracks simultaneously in Logic). Using a 7200rpm external hard disk will be fine to store samples, projects etc on. Hope that helps Rounik
