Hi Amar Could you give more info on what your needs are. There are literally hundreds of different MIDI Controller Keyboards available... so knowing what you hope to use it for, how you anticipate using it - the type of key action, etc, whether you want to use the knobs, sliders and buttons to control Logic etc would be useful. Also what is your budget? Thanks Rounik

Hi Amar, Rounik is spot on! In the event that you are unsure, here's some food for thought. I personally use an M-audio Axiom 61. I love this controller because of its functionality. It has semi-weighted keys which I like for two reasons. You'll find it a bit nicer to play if you aren't a pianist. Also, It is great for synth playing and organ playing. Additionally, the axiom 61 features 9 faders (ironically, the exact number of faders on the upper manual of B-4), 8 rotary encoder knobs as well as 8 pads. This allows you some fabulous opportunities for assigning midi functions, triggering, etc. The price is somewhere between 300-350 us dollars. They also make some smaller models like axiom 49 which has most of the same features but a smaller keyboard range. The possibilities are endless! Cheers, Steve

Thanks Steve for the prompt reply. My budget is 300 usd. So maybe I'll go for M Audio Axiom 65.

Yo Amareddy! That's cool if it works out with your budget. I think you will be pleased with the axiom 61. It's a great piece of gear and there are no drivers that you need as it fully integrates with the Mac (Thx Apple!). Here is a link to Sweetwater (I hope thats ok to post). http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Axiom61/?gclid=CM7zmfrsu6ECFRfxDAodYhbLbQ I am a big fan of them because they are almost always the cheapest and they have, IMHO, the most top notch customer service available. Ask for Forrest Powell and tell him that Steve Buttree sent you his way. He knows me for sure:-) BTW, you get 24/7 tech support and a 2 yr warranty along with free shipping...pretty sweet. Oh yeah, its on sale right now for 299.97 which happens to be exactly what you budgeted for...Hooray!!! Let me know how it works out!
