Thanks Rounik. Really grateful for all your help with this rather tedious process ;) I can hear a slight difference between the BiP and the realtime. Can't really tell betwen the bus and the realtime. I am using beyerdynamic dt880 pro headphones with a high quality DAC/headphone amp. With more automation of other synth parameters the differences can become quite apparent. I only started investigating this issue when I noticed a BiP of a heavily automated synth not sounding as I expected. I've tested it using the mac internal soundcard -> optical out -> DAC + headphones. Ive also tested with a firewire soundcard -> DAC + headphones and same thing. It is weird how the waveform can look the same at the beginning and become different as it goes along. Just wish there was a way to BiP using a realtime bounce process. But i'm used to dragging over from the Bin so not that big a deal. Thanks again for all your help. I will direct apple to this thread.
