Automating multi instruments using external midi instrument
Hi all. I'm interested in the best solution to a little poser... I've had a Roland JV 2080 sitting in my rack for several years gathering dust. I had a couple of hours of downtime today, so for the first time in ages I thought... I'll hook it up... I've got it working, but as I've not used any external instruments in Logic 9, I'm flying a bit blind. I've used it multitimbrally by creating a multi instrument, and setting up an external midi instrument. I routed the midi through my new multi and then routed the audio to the audio interface. So far so good... but I'm left with the age old problem of controller 7 operating volume fader data. I remembered a while back seeing Steve H get around this in a TnT somewhere - but I can't for the life of me remember how to sort it. Can anyone enlighten me... Rounik.. this sounds right up your street.... :-) Any ideas? David T
