    Re: Waveburner - dithering
Hi Rounik, Weird one this - the noise is on the CD, you can hear it on other players, but not on the CD burned fron I-tunes. I have found a cure though, unticking the CD Text box in Waveburner Prefs, as well as the UPC/thingy has done the trick. Luckily I don't need those at moment, as we're all about uploads, but I might need to burn a CD with ISRC codes, anyway these seem OK. Cheers! Gurner

Hey Gurner, Interesting! So... if your turn off ONLY the CD Text option does the noise disappear? Well... Waveburner is a red-book compliant CD burning app... whereas iTunes isn't. In theory - and practice from my limited experience - that makes CDs burned using Waveburner compatible with over 99% of CD players! Anyhow... is it possible that the CD players you tested on don't support CD text? But - that's great that for now you've found a workaround. Best Rounik
