    Can anyone recommend software for converting WAV files to MP3&#
    Hi,I'm wondering can anyone recommend any software for converting WAV files to 320 Kbs MP3's?I also need to add ID3 tags and,if possible,fades(although I do know that Logic 8 can do this). Thanks.Daryl72

    Hi daryl 72, I would use Logic and/or Compressor (which comes with Logic Studio)... iTunes can convert from wav/aiff to practically any popular format too... simply set up your import settings in iTunes > Preferences Alternatively, use Logic and set up the ID3 tags in the Bounce window.     Hi Darryl 72 I can also recommend Waveburner - also comes with Logic Studio. There is a great tutorial on it by JF Brissette here: [url]https://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/waveburner[/url] But Logic's bounce function is totally up to the task, so that may be all you need! Cheers Hamish

    Hi Rounik, Already tried both of those but both(i Tunes and Logic 8)only convert up to 192 kbs. Daryl.

    Hi Hamish, I've already tried Logic's Bounce function but it only converts in Logic 8 up to 192 kbs.I'll try Waveburner though,thanks.Daryl

    iTunes (see Rounik's post above) does convert up to 320kbps. Preferences>General>import settings>setting:custom

    Hi agagag,I haven't tried to access the custom function,I thought the Bit rates shown were all that were available.Thanks a lot for that.Daryl.
