Tutorials on Equalization
Greetings MacPro users! Just finished watching the tutorial on "The Art of Audio Recording" and it was great! I am looking to enhance my knowledge on the different types of equalization techniques used during mix-down, and was hoping that there is a video for that. I would love to know more on peak (or Q) equalization and parametric equalization. Is there a video for this? Cheers! Bobby B

Hi Bobby B! There's a couple of Steve H tutorials with big sections on EQ: Logic's Plugins Unplugged https://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/logicPlugins1 - for Match EQ Logic's Mastering Toolbox https://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/Logic401 - it teaches about general and surgical EQ. Hope that gets you started - loads more good stuff in there too, not just EQ! Cheers Hamish

The Mixing tutorials (Logic 403 and 404) of course feature EQ strongly too. Also check out Olav Basoski's Logic 406 for a section on EQ: http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/logic406 Don't stop with the Logic tutorials, the Mixing series for Pro Tools is extremely strong too! Cheers Rounik
