Score
i have recorded two places in one track bars 40- 56 and bars 72-88 when I click on the track with the score open it will only show 72-88. If I click in the arrange area an then highlight 40-56 it stops at 56. How do I show both areas with the score? if you go into piano roll it will run both but score will not. I would like to show both in a page view. thanks....Dave

Re: Score
Create a score set for that instrument. Then, in the score editor, select that score set and you'll be able to see both sections on the same page. Post back if you need more details on how to do this.

Re: Score
Hi Dave, The attached screenshot shows you where the score sets menu (and access to the score sets editor) is located. The menu normally says "All Instruments". That'll look different when we're done... Suggest you do the following in a separate score editor window instead of the embedded score editor in the arrange page: 1. Right now the score sets menu will say "all instruments". Click on any measure of the part you want to see. Invoke the following function in the score editor's local menu: Layout > Create Score Set from Selection 2. Now look at the score sets editor and it will say "___name of your instrument___" 3. Double-click on the background of the score editor window, or, click the hierarchy arrow. Now you'll see only the regions for that part. VOILA! Well, almost... 4. Double-click on the score sets menu where it says the name of your instrument. This will open the score sets editor. Once in there you rename the part's 'long name' and 'short name'. 5. Suggest you rename the score set itself if it doesn't display a descriptive-enough name, i.e., "alto section" or whatever. 6. The most important part: from this point forward, when you want to view just that part, make sure that "alto section" is selected in the score set menu. Thanks Rounik! BTW, your second sentence there... is that a hint? ;) Dave's question about this reveals some of the intricacies as well as flexibility of the score editor that don't often get much mention. Hmmm... OK, I'll definitely think about it. And while we're at it, wondering if anyone cares to chime in with ideas or requests for other score editor-related blog articles? Or should I start a new thread for that? (Wait, I'm a moderator, I should be able to answer that question myself! But alas, I'm new here, so I'll be glad to receive Rounik's reply).

All my sentences are hints ;) Cool. Your tips are excellent Ski, so there's very little thinking required on my end! Sure start a new thread if you like - also a good idea to post a comment asking just that in your existing blog articles. :)
