    recording tracks
? i have a plugin im using on an audio track. this plugin makes random variations, gating, warping, cutting, bit crushing, fades etc., i want to capture that...certain random parts and make apple loops of them. problem is i don't know how to record track to track or track over track, i want to record from the track being played that has the plugin on it. i don't exactly know the term {imprint a track maybe}. i tried auxing it but aux tracks don't have a record. what am i doing wrong?

Hi edgy First off what plugin is it? I'm interested! Ok. You're almost there. 1. Create a send from the plugins track to say Bus 10 - or whatever is free. 2. Create a new audio track. 3. Click on the input slot of the new audio track and choose the Bus no. from step 1. 4. Record enable the audio track and hit Record in the transport. Alternatively you could try soloing and bouncing in real time mode. That should work.
