    iMac 8 2.8Ghz handle Logic Pro 8
I'm currently working Logic Pro on a G5 desktop computer..thinking about buying the new iMac8 2.8 Ghz with 2 gig ram. Will this computer with its 2.8 Ghz Intel Core 2 Extreme have the processing power equal to the G5 to run Logic 8? I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks for the Logic 8 sample tutorial... ----------------

from what I've been able to determine the biggest advantage of a Mac Pro vs an Imac is the firewire bus- the macpro has two while the Imac has two ports on the same bus. not sure about the new 2.8 ghz Imac- some info leads to believe it may have two busses.
