parts of the track
Hi Guys, is there any specific Logic tutorial that goes over parts of a house music track? For example, what a pad generally is or a lead. Things that describe the sounds that get used in different areas of the tracks and their roles?

Hi Warren, Do you have an online subscription? There's plenty on MPV about synthesis - which would really help you to understand how synthesis works and then you can make any kind of sounds from there... It sounds like you'd get great benefit from the ES2 tutorial: http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/logic9206 The Mixing Electronica will also help a lot to understand how elements in electronica music are arranged and mixed: http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/logic9404 Then there's a host of other tuts which may not be Logic based, but the same principles apply across any DAW. Let me know if you need any more help. Rounik
