    Midi volume question
Hi guys, I'm messing with an old midi file that keeps sending all my faders to +6db every time I play from the beginning of the piece. Not sure how or why this happens but every time it blasts my faders all the way up. How can I delete whatever is causing this? Thanks as always!! Craig

Hi Craig, Open the Event List and filter out the note data. Then select all the MIDI events you want to remove and delete them. That should do the trick! :)

You'll be wanting to look for (and delete) CC#7 events (MIDI Volume).

I just went through this with some old files that had all kinds of weird data associated with them. Got most of it killed via the event list, but some if it seemed to be easier to pinpoint via the hyper editor. Don't know why that was. . . Select the MIDI file in the arrange window and click on hyper editor at the bottom. If you click on the volume header it should select all the subsequent events and you can just hit delete.
