2011Macmini SERVER with Logic 9 ?

Hi all,
i have a mid 2011 2.7 i7 machine with 8 gig of ram.
Its really a great computer.
Geek bench score of 7650.
I am running some heavy plug-ins across 20 to 30 tracks of audio and the CPU is getting towards 50 to 70 %.
I am thinking of selling it to a friend who wants it
and
getting a mac mini server

Here is a thread about a guy who is using one and is having great results.

Now i just talked to Logic support at Apple, and they said that if i ran logic on the server be it a macmini or a macpro i would void my Logic support from apple.
I am not really worried about this as i have this great site for support and the great tutorials.
Can any one give me some info on this.
I could get a quad core i-mac, but i really love the mini.
I have been mobile recording at other people's house's and its just so easy to transport and i use the HDMI to hook up to TV's where i am going, very easy on the road.
Thanks Tom
